She came to tea.
I used my best china;
There was no cosy for the teapot
But we got cosy on the sofa.

We had heard funny things
About each other, so
We talked about other people
And laughed loudly
At our own jokes.

Later, we kissed each other
On both cheeks – front and rear.
Then I waved goodbye to her
With my left leg; as she
Rolled out of the gate,
She said she would like to come again,
And bring her other half.

I look forward to that.
